Allowing your goals and ideas to materialise is a fascination, a privilege and an awesome experience.  Every session is different and we look to allow room for the artist to venture down their path, to explore new ideas and expression… To succeed.  

WHAT

Set upstairs in Avondale,  Resound Studio is a 80m2 space with a fully isolated tracking room, control / mixing room and lounge.  There is also a coffee machine that does ‘real’ coffee in the cafe downstairs.  (trust me this helps).  Our space is relaxed but at the same time inspiring one of the only studio's with sea views!

Our studio is also fully connected to a 400-500 seat auditorium where we can do live recordings with a live audience.  This has worked great for church and worship groups and bands wanting the live crowd feel.

WHO

Reuben Douglas started the journey of recording and music about 20 years ago. Working at many of the top recognised studios around Auckland with all types of artists and styles.  I've worked with and developed everything from Rock, to EDM, to Celtic, to Dub Step, to Gospel Worship, along with lots of tv jingles in between - it has been a fascinating journey.

Ending up with my own recording studio has been a long time dream, but the real kick for me, is seeing the dream of others come to reality. 

Here at Resound, we have myself and a few other excellent engineers, who will take your project all the way from an idea, to recorded, mixed, produced, mastered and everything in between.  

We recognise every project is different, and so we accommodate however you want to play it.   

We pride ourself in the highest standard of recording, at the same time, our mission is to have quality recordings that is accessible to many and so our prices reflect this
